October 15th: Travel Registration begins for existing/previous RYL players
November 16th: House League Registration Opens
November 16th: Remaining Travel spots open to the public (players must live in, or attend school in Rye)
January 30th: House League Registration Ends
SPRING 2012 TRAVEL PLAYERS WALL BALL SKILL DEVELOPMENT
For registered players in the travel program for the grades specified below.
Location: Carver Center
Dates: 1/7, 1/21, 1/28, 2/4, 2/11, 3/3
Times: 10am - 11am 7th & 8th Grade (Boys)
11am - 12pm 3rd & 4th Grade (Boys)
12pm - 1pm 5th & 6th Grade (Boys)
1pm - 2pm 4th Grade (Girls)
2pm - 3pm 3rd Grade (Girls)
Requirements: FULL Equipment (Boys & Girls)

Dates: 3/24, 3/31, 4/14, 4/21, 4/28, 5/5, 5/12, 5/19, 6/2
Grade 1 & 2 Boys: 8-9:30a
Grade 3 & 4 Boys: 9:30-11a
Grade 3 & 4 Girls: 11-12:30p
Grade 1 & 2 Girls: 12:30-2p
To All Existing RYL Families,
New RYL Policy, Please mark your calendars for registration to begin on October 15th…….all RYL Travel Teams will be capped this year because of the shortage in field space. However, as a returning RYL family, your children are all guaranteed a spot on a travel team provided you register them during the designated registration period of October 15th-November 15th.
Travel registration will open ONLY to existing RYL families from October 15th, 2011-November 15th, 2011. You will have 4 weeks to register in order to be guaranteed a spot in the travel program. Again, these families are ONLY guaranteed a travel spot if they complete their registration by November 15, 2011. Any remaining spots will open to the public on November 16, 2011. For example, if on Nov. 16th you attempt to register your child as a returning player and that age group has already reached its cap, you will be placed on the wait list. Again, you have 4 weeks to register as an existing RYL family to be guaranteed a spot. . We are very sorry to have to take such a hard line on this but it is purely a space issue; nothing would make us happier than to see every child in Rye with a stick in their hand. Please remember to register…….
Also new this year; tryouts will be held for all travel players (boys and girls) in grades 5-8 indoors in January and February. More details as to tryout dates and location will follow shortly.
